“I can’t say enough for the care that was given to my husband by the staff!

They were great and caring workers and I wish we could have had them sooner. Thank you all so much and blessings to you.”

What is the difference between Palliative Care and Hospice Care?

Both palliative and hospice care are focused on comfort, support, and quality of life for the patient.

  • Palliative care is for anyone with a serious illness at any stage, and may be provided alongside treatments intended to cure or slow disease progression.
  • Hospice care is for those choosing to focus on comfort, symptom relief, and quality of life rather than continuing curative treatment.

In Illinois, The Care Team offers both hospice and palliative care. This means consistent support for your family no matter where you are in the journey, without having to start over with a new team.
