The Care Team is excited to share our Q4 Volunteer Newsletter, a quarterly publication that celebrates the incredible individuals who generously give their time, talents, and compassion to support our hospice patients and their families.
Across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, our volunteers continue to create meaningful moments through companionship, encouragement, and acts of kindness. From spending time with patients and supporting caregivers to writing letters and participating in community activities, every volunteer brings something special to the patients and families we serve.
This edition features volunteer spotlights from each of our five states, recognizing individuals who demonstrate compassion and a commitment to serving others. It also highlights our Pen-Pal Program, which has grown to include more than 100 volunteers who create thoughtful cards for patients, offering encouragement and a reminder that someone is thinking of them.
The newsletter also showcases memorable moments from across our service areas, including community events, volunteer appreciation efforts, and special experiences created for patients and families. As we look ahead to the final months of the year, we also recognize opportunities for volunteers to help honor Veterans and continue creating moments of connection for those we serve.
We invite you to read the latest edition of our Volunteer Newsletter and learn more about the remarkable individuals who help make compassionate hospice care possible every day.
